The main topic of this year's meeting in Switzerland was the European competitiveness. In addition to Switzerland as host, the heads of state of Luxembourg, Austria, Germany and Liechtenstein gathered for their annual meeting.

On Saturday, 30 August 2025, the church wedding of Her Serene Highness Princess Marie Caroline of Liechtenstein with Mr Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer took place in the Cathedral of Vaduz.

The Princely House of Liechtenstein is delighted to announce that the church wedding of H.S.H. Princess Marie Caroline of Liechtenstein and Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer will take place on 30 August 2025 at 11 a.m. in Vaduz Cathedral.

On 10 and 11 February, the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit, jointly organised by France and India, took place in Paris. Liechtenstein was represented at the summit by H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.

H.S.H. the Hereditary Prince and H.R.H. the Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter Princess Marie Caroline to Mr Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer.

The annual meeting of the heads of state, which is taking place this year in Luxembourg from 16 to 17 September, is being attended by the host, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, as well as the heads of state of Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The Princely House regrets to announce that H.S.H. Prince Constantin von und zu Liechtenstein passed away unexpectedly on 5 December 2023.

H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois von Liechtenstein took part in this important meeting and called on the international community not to lose sight of climate protection in view of the many current crises. He reaffirmed Liechtenstein's willingness to make the necessary contribution.

For their annual meeting, which this year takes place from 11 to 12 September, the King of the Belgians as host was joined by the Heads of State of Luxembourg, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein in Belgium.
The main topic was "Space" and there was a very interesting exchange of experiences with astronauts from the European Space Agency (ESA).
