In his address at the opening session of the State Parliament (Eröffnungssitzung des Landtags) on 27 January 2022, His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein speaks about the pandemic as well as the areas of spatial planning, mobility and demographic development: "Liechtenstein should have the vision of being a country with a high quality of life, where people grow older well and with pleasure."
In his speech, H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein wishes the people of Liechtenstein a merry and blessed Christmas and a good and healthy start to the New Year.

The World Leaders Summit on 1 November 2021 kicked off the 26th United Nations climate change conference (COP26). From 31 October to 12 November, COP26 is bringing together the 197 parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). These include the EU and all EU member states.
Today we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of our constitution and can be justifiably proud of this anniversary. After all, our constitution is not only the basic framework of our state order, but also an important foundation for the so successful development of our country in recent decades. [..]
In his traditional speech, Hereditary Prince Alois addressed the strength of Liechtenstein, the 100th anniversary of the constitution, as well as the pandemic and its challenges for the near future. As a sign of solidarity, H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein presented 11 flag bearers with a flag of the respective municipality. These were carried into the respective municipality after the act of state and hoisted in the evening at the same time as the national anthem.
